Simple Purple-hull Peas

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups frozen purple-hull peas, rinsed

Cover peas with 1-inch of water.

Bring pot to a boil.

After water boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 25-30 minutes or until peas are tender but not mushy.

Remove from heat, do not drain.
